The Minnesota Transfer Curriculum (MnTC) includes 40 credits of general education courses that transfer to any university in the Minnesota State system. The 40 credits within the MnTC make up the core of an associate degree, which is 60 credits. Students in the MnTC can explore their interests through a variety of coursework and quickly complete their general education credits before transferring to a bachelor's program at a university.

Time to Complete

The Minnesota Transfer Curriculum program can be completed in three semesters. Transferring credits into NHCC may result in the program taking less time. Taking classes on a part-time basis will require additional semesters.

After NHCC

After completing the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum, students are prepared to successfully transfer to a bachelor's degree program at a four-year university. Students also have the option of completing a bachelor's degree at NHCC. Meeting with an academic advisor is a great way for students to plan for transferring to a bachelor's degree program and ensure they take classes that align with their goals.
