Apply for Scholarships
NHCC's scholarship application is an easy one-application process that automatically considers you for any scholarship you're eligible for. Scholarships are based primarily on GPA, credit load, and if you're a new or returning student. If you're enrolled in six credits and have a 2.0 GPA, you will qualify for many scholarships.
Awards range from $500 to $5,000.

The application period for 2023-2024 academic year scholarships is now closed.
The application period for 2024-2025 academic year scholarships will open February 2024.
Disbursement Information
With few exceptions, all scholarships are awarded for the academic year, and split equally for confirmed enrollment in fall and spring semesters. At a minimum, you must register for the required number of credits identified in your scholarship. Awards for enrollment at NHCC are disbursed at the same time as all other aid. Transfer scholarships are disbursed to the transfer institution after the awarded student has submitted registration confirmation to the NHCC Foundation.

Earn an Additional $2,500 Scholarship
In addition to NHCC's scholarships, you may be eligible for a $2,500 Workforce Development Scholarship. These scholarships encourage and reward students pursuing high-demand occupations in health care and information technology. For students or student family members who have struggled to overcome alcohol or drug abuse and are ready to make a positive change in their lives by pursuing higher education.
