NHCC Instructor Testing

The Testing Center provides NHCC students a place to make up missed exams. Arrangements must be made with your instructor before scheduling with the Testing Center.

1. Obtain permission and make arrangements with you instructor.
   • If you get help from Access services and need special testing support, show your instructor the accommodation letter before you set up your first test.
2. Follow the RegisterBlast link in your courses D2L page to register for an appointment.
   • Printed instructions available in the Testing Center
3. On the day of test, allow extra time for checking in and out
4. Your instructor will indicate an exam due date. Exams will not be provided beyond this date.
5. A photo ID is required to take an exam

Minnesota State College Testing

The NHCC Testing Center also provides proctoring services for students from other Minnesota State colleges:

How to Schedule:

• First make arrangements with your home institution. Test materials must be provided to the Testing Center before test day.  
• Schedule an appointment in RegisterBlast. Appointments must be scheduled 2 business days in advance.
• Select Proctored Testing.
• If testing for a Minnesota State system institution, select “MinnState.”
• Choose the time allotted for your exam. Availability is based on Testing Center hours.
• Provide institution name, instructor name, and class information. Indicate if computer access is required.

Accuplacer Test with Voucher

If you need to take the Accuplacer exam for your home institution (not for NHCC students or Minnstate students), NHCC will proctor the Accuplacer test for you

How to Schedule:

• First make arrangements with your home institution. Accuplacer voucher codes must be created and sent from your institution to NHCC before your scheduled test date  
• Schedule an appointment in RegisterBlast. Appointments must be scheduled 2 business days in advance.
• Select Voucher for Accuplacer.
• For exam, select Accuplacer Testing with Voucher
• Choose the time allotted for your exam. Availability is based on Testing Center hours.
• Provide the Voucher code, your name, and your institution name.

Testing Day Guidelines:

• Allow extra time for check-in, check-out, and paperwork.
• A valid photo ID is required.
