The purpose of Phi Theta Kappa is to recognize and encourage scholarship among two-year college students. To achieve this purpose, Phi Theta Kappa provides opportunities for the development of leadership and service, an intellectual climate for exchange of ideas and ideals, lively fellowship for scholars, and stimulation of interest in continuing academic excellence. Phi Theta Kappa is the oldest and most widely recognized Honor Society for two-year colleges.

Membership requirements:

  • Invitation to society (Required)
  • 3.5 Cumulative GPA
  • Minimum 12 completed credits
  • Currently enrolled at North Hennepin
  • One-time membership fee ($75)

Blood Drive, Club/Org Day, Regional and National travel opportunities, Founder's Day, PTK Inductions, Educational events, Student Celebration Day, etc.
