Job Description
Tutoring is a rewarding experience that offers students and tutors opportunities to learn from one another. The Tutoring Center offer's their tutors the chance to enhance their own skills while collaborating with faculty, staff, and peers. In this role, tutors provide one-on-one and/or group assistance to students with content-based needs in subjects the tutors excel in.
Qualifications

The Tutoring Department is searching for applicants with:

  • Proven strong subject-specific & interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Reliability, positive attitude and a desire to help their peers.
  • The ability to obtain a recommendation to tutor from a faculty member. Financial Aid work-study eligibility and a 2.5 or higher GPA.


Work Schedule
Mondays – Thursdays 9 am – 6 pm and Fridays 9 am – 3 pm. 
Holiday, spring break and summer hours may vary.
