  • MinnState has established a COVID-19 Job Search Resources dashboard that includes information on employers who are hiring now.
  • Amazon is currently iring for part-time warehouse positions in Brooklyn Park. Apply HERE.
  • Fastenal Company is hiring for nearly 1000 positions acros its various locations, with a focus on industrial sales and supply chain operations. More information available on the company website.

Hiring, Networking & Career Events

  •  MN Department of Human Services is hosting its SPRING VIRTUAL HUMAN SERVICES CAREER FAIR on Tuesday March 16th, 1:00pm-2:30pm. Anyone is welcome to attend, including students studying psychology, social work, education/special education, nursing, and human services. Visit the REGISTRATION PAGE to sign up for the event.
  • ACR Homes offers Lunch & Learn Sessions every Thursday at noon (through March 18th) where you can learn more about flexible internship opportunities that align with your educational and career goals. 
  • NHCC's Dean of Science, Math & Health Sciences is pleased to announce the college's Spring 2021 STEM Lecture Series. All students are invited to attend the lectures. Check the flyer for more information on lecture topics and scheduling.
  • Mayo Clinic invites all students to explore Life Changing Careers. Each month, the Mayo Clinic offers a chance for you to attend an information session and learn more about the opportunities and application process from their recruiters. The next event is an introduction to Mayo Clinic Nursing Career Opportunities on March 6th, 10:00am-11:00am, and REGISTRATION is required.
  • Alternatives for People with Autism is a group home in Brooklyn Park serving 18 adults with autism and other developmental disabilities.  They have both part-time, direct-care positions for students and Program Coordinator roles available (Coordinator roles require a 4-year degree).  Direct link to online application: General Application - Alternatives for People with Autism (afpwa.org).   • SciTech is a one-stop shop for finding STEM internships statewide. Visit SciTechMN.org for more information.
  • Rise serves people who have disabilities and other barriers. Visit their careers page to explore the possibilities. Also hiring for permanent positions as Direct Support Professionals, Case Aides, Case Managers, and Employment Consultants.
  •  The Minnesota Conservation Corps has summer volunteer/internship opportunities working in Natural Resources. Visit their website for more information.

Resources for students include exploring careers and programs of study through self-assessments, assistance with refining job search techniques, and providing access to job postings and fairs.

Resources for employers include an online job posting service and opportunities to participate in recruiting events on campus.
