Career Services is excited to launch weekly drop-in resume workshops starting Wednesday, February 4. These workshops are open to all NHCC students and are designed to help build confidence when applying for jobs, internships, scholarships, and on-campus opportunities.  

Resume Workshops are offered both in-person and virtually. Students can choose the format that works best for them each week. No registration is required. 

Weekly Workshop Schedule: 

Resume Workshops will be held every Wednesday, starting on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.

What Students Can Expect: 

Whether you’re creating your very first resume or improving an existing one, Career Services staff are available to support you with: 

  • Creating a resume that is clear, competitive, and true to your experiences
  • Tailoring your resume to specific jobs, internships, or academic programs
  • Using strong keywords and learning how applicant-tracking systems (ATS) work
  • Writing clear and impactful bullet points that highlight your skills and accomplishments
  • Asking questions in a supportive and low-pressure environment  

Students may bring a laptop, a resume draft, or a job posting they want to target, but these items are not required. Just bring yourself.

This is a simple and accessible way for students to take a meaningful step toward the next stage of their college or career journey. These workshops help students: 

  • Build confidence in presenting their skills and experience
  • Prepare for internships and job applications
  • Strengthening written communication and self-advocacy
  • Connect with staff who can support their career development
