As a nursing student, you know that tasks and deadlines change based on where you are in your individual process. But, did you know that NHCC offers 3 different types of info sessions for nursing students, so they can find help regardless of where they’re at in the process?
- Nursing Info Sessions – These sessions are offered online; for any student, or prospective student who would like to learn about NHCC’s nursing program. View this recently recorded Nursing Info Session video for more info:
November 2022, Nursing Info Session Recording
- Pre-Nursing Q&A Sessions – These sessions are offered in-person and via Zoom. This is the perfect time for students to get their nursing questions answered, learn more about the program and meet with the nursing advisors. -What Do I Need to Do Before the Q&A? If you haven't already, be sure to FIRST watch a Nursing Info session online. To do this, visit www.nhcc.edu/nursing and under “Important Links” click the 1st link. This will tell you program requirements and general nursing info. Afterwards, you may join a Q&A Session. -What Can I Expect at the Q&A Sessions? Students can just show up on the day of (in-person or on Zoom)! The Q&A Sessions will be around an hour long, including a short 10-15 minute recap presentation of the Nursing Info Session material. Then students will be able to ask their questions. To keep the sessions engaging, Advisors will also provide questions that are frequently asked by students. For more info please view:

Nursing Application Workshops with WIEL and the Writing Center – These sessions are offered in-person and via Zoom.
