Get ready, because The Brooklyn Park Farmers Market is coming to a community college near you! Next month, you’ll be able to purchase vendor-grown produce, vendor-made specialty foods and consumable items, right here ON-CAMPUS! And that’s not all we have in store for the summer!
IT’S CONFIRMED! NHCC’s Concerts in the Courtyard Series is back this summer, with a fresh line-up of local music for you to enjoy!
The Brooklyn Park Farmers Market
Date: Wednesdays, July 12 – October 11 from 2-6pm
Location: The North Hennepin Community College Parking Lot off of West Broadway Avenue.
- Vendors will offer items such as: produce, baked goods, hair care, wood art and more.
- Shoppers enrolled in SNAP/EBT may use benefits for bonus market bucks on eligible items.
- Food trucks will be on site each week.
- Get your mid-week grocery run done AND support local businesses at the same time!
After the farmers market, stop by our courtyard for some live music!
Concerts in the Courtyard Series
Date: Wednesdays, August 2 – September 20 from 6-7:30pm
Location: The North Hennepin Community College Courtyard
- Our concerts are family-friendly and FREE!
- Bring your own blanket or chair.
- Food trucks will be on site each week.
- No pets.

August 2 – Sesay, singer songwriter based in Minneapolis.
August 9 – Hillary Lor, performing artist and musician who specializes in flutes.
August 16 – The Umamies, Minneapolis based pop band.
August 23 – Good News Big Band, 18-piece concert-style big band.
August 30 – Mixed Precipitation, outdoor operetta.
September 6 – Top Flight, jazz, hip hop, pop, rhythm and blues band.
September 13 – Capri Big Band, local big band jazz.
September 20 – Salsa Del Soul, 5-piece orchestra performing various styles of dance music from the Spanish-speaking regions of the Caribbean.
