Dr Mayweather's keynote is titled "The MLK Nobody's Talking About: Moving Beyond the Safe Dream". The keynote will highlight some of the untold stories of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. while also encouraging attendees to find the leader within themselves! Dr. Mayweather is an award-winning educator who has earned his Ph.D. in Educational Leadership at Eastern Michigan University. He teaches youth and college students to embrace their inner leader! As a leadership speaker, Dr. Mayweather focuses on closing the gap between intention and action in student success and retention efforts. He utilizes activities to help students and professionals understand the intersections gifts, talents, and skills to maximize people's full potential. Dr. Mayweather guides organizations and individuals past the fear of "doing leadership perfectly" by fostering trust, empathy, and meaningful connections.
