ABOUT THE PLAY: Described as one of “the greatest American plays ever written,” Thornton Wilder’s Our Town presents the small town of Grover’s Corners in three acts: “Daily Life,” “Love and Marriage,” and “Death and Eternity.” At first glance, Our Town appears to be a simple, innocuous portrait of life in a small town. But as time passes in the three acts—an ordinary day, a wedding, a death—the play builds to a soaring exploration of human existence.

The NHCC Department of Theater does not discriminate against persons auditioning on the basis of race, national or ethnic origin, age, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, creed, or ability.
