I have three disabilities and I am comfortable talking about them. Having disabilities has helped me to better serve all students better. I try to help each student strike a balance between work, homelife, rest, and college.

If you know me, you know I love to draw in my free time. I recently put some of my drawings in my office. Come by and check them out and have a chat!

Currently am learning how to work with wood (spoon making) but before that I tried (again) to do pottery (I'm not a potter!) and I tried bowl turning (too scary), plus I enjoy spending time with my adult children who are attending MinnState colleges, travelling, walking my old dogs, cooking, and watching movies.

I'm very proud of something I did in 2021. I'll explain, I passed a series of exams in French, FBI checks, and had a lot of translations of documents done all in order to apply to become a French citizen. I am married to a citizen of France and now I'm also a French citizen too!

I started college at Saint Cloud State University (SCSU) and transferred to the UofMN. I hold two bachelor's degrees from the University of Minnesota in French and Studio Arts with an emphasis in drawing. I also hold a masters in English with an emphasis in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) from SCSU.

In addition to these three degrees, I have successfully completed all additional master's course work at the University of St. Thomas in K-12 ESOL and French instruction.

As you can see, I'm very approachable, I love helping others, but I love having silly fun too.

Cheers!
