Dr. Spitzer earned his B.S. in Computer Science from Baker College - Flint, MI, M.S. in Enterprise Software Architecture from Capella University, Ph.D. in Information Technology also from Capella University, and holds a CISSP certification from ISC2. Dr. Spitzer's background encompasses software development, system administration, machine learning algorithm development, and information security within the healthcare sector.
Dr. Spitzer's other passions include learning and teaching. His goal is to create engaging academic experiences rooted in the practical application of concepts. Dr. Spitzer's philosophy is that by sharing and applying knowledge, students and teachers alike are better able to learn from each other's experiences and advance our understanding as a whole. He has taught courses since 2012 in IT and Computer Science and is honored to continue embarking on this educational journey.
