I have been a registered nurse for over 35 years. Nursing is a terrific field as I have had many opportunities in my career thus far. I started out working with hematology patients (those with leukemia, lymphoma, etc.) at Rochester Methodist Hospital. Then I took a job at North Memorial Hospital, working with patients on a Medical-Surgical/Oncology floor. From there, I worked at Methodist Hospital as a Breast Cancer Nurse Coordinator & Oncology Research Nurse. Following this, I was a Breast Cancer Nurse Coordinator, Imaging Nurse, Perinatology Nurse, & Oncology Research Nurse at Ridgeview Medical Center. Since 2006, I have been employed with North Hennepin Community College, where I have been teaching nursing students, for which I am passionate for.
