Johanna Gangl, MA, LPCC (#cc02556) has been with North Hennepin Community College since Fall 2019. Originally, she was hired as a Faculty Counselor to cover a sabbatical and formed a great affection for the campus community while working in that role. She transitioned into her current role as Mental Health Therapist in January 2021. Prior to her shifting into academia, Johanna spent time providing counseling and case management in Twin Cities nonprofits for victim/survivors of sexual violence, adults with severe and persistent mental health issues, and unstably-housed youth. When she's not at work, you can find her spending time with her husband, two little ones, and pup Corn Chip, trying out a new baking experiment, or researching her next travel destination.
