Job Description | Support the Workforce Innovation and Experiential Learning (WIEL) Center team, serving as the first point of contact for the department (in person and by phone). Welcome students, faculty, staff, employers, and community members to the area, identify their needs and direct to appropriate professional, including scheduling in-person and virtual appointments. Assist with projects and events such as career fairs, career expos, networking fairs, and web-based activities. Manage calendars for team members via Outlook. |
Qualifications | The ideal candidate will demonstrate an interest in communicating through a variety of media (written and spoken communication, visually through flyers and posters) and working in a team setting as well as independently. Additionally, the candidate must be comfortable with technology and a willingness to learn how to navigate different software tools, create and manage documents using Microsoft Office suite, managing schedules via Outlook, and perform various data entry/record keeping duties. The perfect candidate is detail oriented and has an outgoing personality. |
Work Schedule | 20 hours per week |
Compensation | 15.00/hour |
