At North Hennepin, we know that a healthy student is the student who can truly thrive in the classroom and go on to achieve great things. With that in mind, our CARE Center is here to help you do just that.
CARE stands for Counseling, Advocacy, Resources, and Empowerment and brings together multiple disciplines to create a welcoming and growth-centered environment for all students.
Healthy Person, Healthy Student
You can receive care with no out-of-pocket costs for minor illnesses or injuries such as sprains, rashes, or back pain. Set up a virtual visit to get started, and we’ll get you pointed in the right direction.
Counseling Services at NHCC provides free and confidential personal counseling and consultation to promote personal development and well-being.
Resources to Help Everyone Thrive
The Community Connections Resource Center helps students with basic needs and connects them to community resources.
The Food Cupboard is open to all NHCC students and provides fresh produce, non-perishable food, frozen veggies and meats, hygiene items, baby items, and ready-to-eat meals from MN Central Kitchen.
