Summary:
This position primarily ensures smooth functioning of the Fitness Center that serves as the laboratory space for the Exercise Science department. This includes setting up for classes, preparing instructional areas, inventory management of supplies, and maintenance of instructional equipment in the department. The normal work week for this position is Monday-Friday with variable daily hours depending on the academic calendar. The ideal candidate will be someone that has a collaborative approach, is a creative problem-solver, and has the desire to continually learn and adapt to changing circumstances. • Coordinate daily operations of the fitness center and Exercise Science classes

Summary:
The Vice President of Finance and Facilities serves as the Chief Finance and Facilities Officer (CFFO) of the college and provides vision, leadership, and strategic direction for college-wide budget development, budget monitoring, budget forecasting, fiscal affairs, physical plant, auxiliary enterprises (bookstore and food service), risk management, and safety/security programs. This position serves on the Executive Leadership team and reports directly to the college president. As a senior leader of the college and member of the Executive Leadership team, this position provides critical input to the president on key college issues and opportunities. The successful Vice President will be defined by colleagues as a trusted advisor, whose empathy is demonstrated through inclusiveness and service to others. This person will be described as having integrity, humility, and an inviting demeanor that puts those around him/her at ease. Consistent with the college's mission, this leader will demonstrate a strong commitment to the value of diversity among students and staff, as well as sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of NHCC students.
