The Mathematics Resource Center provides drop in math tutoring in any math or math related course to any student.

Peer Tutoring Service

Tutors from Peer Tutoring Services are available weekdays and several evenings each week to help students with many courses.

Writing Center

The Writing Center offers assistance to all students enrolled in college courses who are seeking guidance with their writing projects.

Online Tutoring through Smarthinking

North Hennepin provides online students access to Smarthinking - an online tutoring service. Smarthinking tutoring is available 24/7 and online students may utilize up to 10 hours of service each semester. With Smarthinking you can:

• Access live online tutoring in: Math (including Calculus), Writing, General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Introduction to Human Anatomy and Physiology, Accounting, Economics, Introductory Finance, Statistics, and Spanish.
• Use the service in order to: drop-in for live tutoring, submit questions for a response within 24 hours, pre-schedule tutoring sessions, or to view archieves of past sessions.
