Study Abroad & International Education
Minnesota State Colleges and Universities can help you prepare for an exciting future by offering study abroad programs, international and global studies, study-travel courses, and world and modern language programs.
Study abroad (semester and half-semester) and international study-travel courses (one to three weeks) are led by one or more faculty members of the sponsoring college(s). These courses are taken for credit in most cases and focus on the specific content in the teaching area of the faculty member(s).
The valuable life skills you acquire from studying abroad are put into practice long before you arrive in your host country. They begin as soon as you start investigating your study abroad options. These reference materials can be useful as you plan:
If there is an interesting study aboad opportunity offered through another college, NHCC can still help coordinate those efforts - from the application, housing, and financial processes to transfering the credits earned toward your NHCC degree. Study Abroad in Mexico!
