GED Testing

*** Please note that the new 2014 GED testing program will be available soon ***

The General Education Development (GED) Certificate is designed to measure proficiency in the following subject areas – Mathematics, Writing, Social Studies, Science, Literature, and Arts. 

Passing these suites of tests is required to certify that the student possesses academic skills and knowledge associated with a high school program of study.  Additional information is available through the Minnesota Department of Education website or by calling 651-582-8445.

The GED program at North Hennepin Community College (NHCC) is changing.  Updates will be posted as soon as new information is available.  In the meantime, interested students can contact nearby sites.  Adult learners can contact the Osseo School District Adult Learning Center online or by phone at 763-566-5452.  Also, the Brooklyn Center Community Corner is available at 763-561-2481.

Monday            9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Tuesday           9:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Wednesday      9:00 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Thursday          9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Friday               9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

*** NOTE:  The Placement Test, Proctor Test, GED, and CLEP programs are offered during specific times.
