Fall Semester 2016
Flag Football (9/1-10/20, Tues/Thurs 2 pm)
NHCC will look to defend their back to back league titles when the season kicks off in September. Students interested in participating on this year's team should talk to Kevin in CC101 or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org. As a member of the team it is expected that all players be able to travel to road games. Games are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2pm during the fall semester. Only currently enrolled students are eligible to play, participation is free. Previously football or flag football experience is encouraged. Schedule to be posted soon.
Club Soccer (M/W/F Afternoons)
Students interested in soccer are welcome to join the Soccer Club. Scrimmages and games will be scheduled throughout the fall semester. More information to come.
Open Volleyball (Tuesday/Thursday 3pm-4:30pm)
Come and join pick up volleyball! Open volleyball takes place every Tuesday and Thursday this fall from 3pm-4:30pm in the NHCC gym. Student I.D required.
Student vs. Staff Softball Game (Thursday, Sept. 22nd @ 5PM)
The Student vs. Staff Softball competition is back this fall! Come play or watch as the students battle faculty and staff for softball supremacy. The date of this year's game is Thursday, September 22nd at 5pm. If you are interested in playing, you can sign up in the Rec Sports Office (HWC 165 or CC101) or email email@example.com.
Rec Sports Bowling Night (TBA @ Brunswick)
Join your fellow students for a night of free bowling at Brunswick Zone Brooklyn Park. Students can enjoy free bowling and shoes from 7pm-9pm. Students interested in attending can sign up here. Participation is limited to students only.
Club Hockey (Tuesdays/Thursdays 1:10pm)
NHCC Club Hockey will begin its season mid January. Home games are played at the Brooklyn Park Activities Center, just down the street from NHCC. Admission is free for all NHCC students and staff! Skate arounds will start between Thanksgiving and Winter Break. Interested players must come out to practice before playing in a game. Contact Kevin in CC101A for more information, or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org. Previous hockey experience encouraged, there is no cost to participate. Club Basketball (March-April)
NHCC will again be participating in the Metro Club Basketball League. Students interested in playing, should see Kevin in the Rec Sports Office. Potential players must be able to attend both home and away games and carry a 2.0 GPA or higher. Games are played during weekday afternoons, a specific schedule will be released closer to the season.
