Financial Aid And Payment Information

Tuition Payment

Payment arrangements must be made by the non-payment.

Payment Options

  • Pay in-person, by mail or online. NHCC accepts cash, check, money-order or Visa, MasterCard and Discover Card.

Note: Credit card purchases require the card-holder signature. North Hennepin does not accept credit card payments by phone.

  • NHCC Tuition Payment Plan. The NHCC Payment Plan requires a 1) non-refundable, $30 fee; AND 2) a minimum down payment of $300 or 15% of your balance, whichever is less. Payment Plans may be submitted in person or by mail. Faxed Payment Plans are not accepted. Final Payment Plan due dates are available under Dates and Deadlines.

    • It will be assumed that a student is choosing the NHCC payment plan, which includes a $30 fee, by making the 15%/$300 payment by the payment deadline.

  •  e-Cashier Payment Plan through Nelnet Business Solutions. Through e-Cashier, you arrange for your down payment and monthly payments to be automatically deducted from your checking or savings account.

  • Financial Aid. If your FAFSA has been received by NHCC, your registration will not be canceled.

  • Scholarships. If you have submitted a scholarship authorization or check to Accounting and Fees, your registration will not be canceled.

  • Third Party Authorization. Third party authorization refers to an outside agency or organization that has authorized (committed) to pay your tuition, fee and/or book costs in accordance with third party payment expectations. Tuition reimbursement programs, such as an employer who requires a paid invoice or proof of grades to generate reimbursement are not considered to be third party. Students eligible for tuition reimbursement programs are required to make payment directly to NHCC, and then seek reimbursement from their employer or sponsor.
