Common Accommodations

Common Accommodations

Some examples may include:

  • Accessible Adaptive Software and Equipment on Campus
  • Volunteer Note Takers
  • Extended Testing Time
  • Distraction Free Testing Environment
  • Textbooks in Alternative Format (example, audio)
  • Sign Language Interpreters
  • Wheelchair Accessibility
  • Information and guidance that leads to self-advocacy

Receiving an accommodation does not change a student's responsibility to meet the classroom and academic standards of a course, nor does it change the essence of a program.
