Course Material Returns
You may receive a full refund for Course Materials by the end of the first week of class or within 5 business days after the course start date, whichever is later, and upon meeting the following conditions:
- You have the original Sales Receipt and your NHCC Student ID.
- New books must be returned in the original condition as purchased, free from writing, highlighting, creases, water damage or other damage. Course materials can not have erasure marks.
- Loose leaf items must be in original shrink-wrap.
- CDs, diskettes, Info Trac pass codes, software included with book, or sold alone must be unopened and in original packaging or it will be non-returnable.
- All components must be in original bundle and unopened.
General Merchandise Returns
You may receive a full refund on Merchandise within 5 business days after purchase upon meeting the following conditions:
- You have the original cashier Sales Receipt and your NHCC Student ID.
- Returned merchandise is in salable condition. The Bookstore reserves the right to determine the salability of the merchandise.
Items that are Non-Returnable
- On-sale or clearance merchandise.
- Computer diskettes and magnetic media (audio/video tape).
- Opened plastic wrapped or blister-packed merchandise.
- Clothing may be exchanged for sizing errors. Original tags required.
- Special orders.
- Art supplies, medical supplies and custom kits.
- Electronics (includes iPod, recorders, calculators, etc.).
- Candy, food or other consumables.
Other things to keep in mind about our policy

Returns are refunded in the same manner as payment was made. For example, books purchased with a credit card will be refunded to the credit card; books charged with financial aid will be credited back to the student's account.

Defective items will be replaced with exact merchandise or a substitute item at discretion of store manager.

No refunds are issued during exam weeks.
