Using your Books
PSEO funded books are the property of the State of Minnesota and must be returned after you are done with your course no later than the by the last day of final exams week. You may write, underline, or highlight in these books for study purposes, but please remember to take care of these books as you will need to return them to the Bookstore. (You will be charged for books that are severely damaged or have water damage.) If you drop a course, please return the book immediately to the Bookstore. Do not wait for the book return period.
Textbook Pick Up
To pick up PSEO funded books during the schedule posted below, you need to provide:
- Copy of your class schedule (available after you register online) .
- Your NHCC Student ID.
Textbook Return
- All course materials, including textbooks, cds, lab manuals, and workbooks, are the property of NHCC and must be returned to the bookstore. Fall 2009 course materials are due by 4:30pm on December, 18, 2009. Spring 2009 course materials are due by 4:30pm on May 14, 2010.
- If you need to keep your textbooks longer than the return date deadline, you must contact the bookstore before the last due date.
- The bookstore will not accept course materials that are returned after the return date deadline. Instead your student account will be accessed a fee of 75% of the original value of your books and a hold is placed on your academic record until payment is made. A hold prevents you from future registration and access to your official transcript.
