Every summer, NHCC's Youth Academy offers educational and fun opportunities for children ages 6-12.
For Summer 2011, kids will "Step into the Spotlight" as they spend a week with experienced teachers from Yellow Tree Theatre to learn about acting, playwriting, and improvisation. They will create their own theatre showcase, and for the final act, they will perform for family and friends on stage. Whether a beginner or a pro, everyone is welcome!
There are two week-long sessions to choose from: July 11-15 or July 18-22, both from 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. The cost is $185 per week per child.

About Yellow Tree Theatre
Yellow Tree Theatre, located in Osseo, MN, is currently in their third season and run by husband and wife team, artistic director and actor, Jason Peterson (whom the St. Paul Pioneer Press called, “one to watch”) and Jessica Lind, an award-winning playwright and actress. Camp Details
Check In / Out
Students will check in and out at Educational Services (ES) Building Atrium. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before the start of class and plan to pick up no later than 15 minutes at the end of class. Youth Academy staff is not responsible for children arriving before and after the stated times.
Confirmation Letters
Confirmation letters will be sent after registration has been processed. The letter will include your receipt, directions, and important details for the week of class. You will be notified and issued a refund if the class you register for fills or is cancelled.
Multiple Child Discount
We are happy to support families with multiple participants in the Youth Academy program. When you register one child at full price, you may subtract $20 from each additional sibling.
