The nursing program has limited enrollment and nursing classes start only once per year. The nursing course sequence for the Standard 2 year Option begins each fall semester and the Mobility option starts each summer semester. Students are encouraged to plan ahead because there is a separate application process required for admission to the Nursing Program.
The nursing application process for both the Standard 2 year option and the Mobility option begins in October and continues until the end of January (check application for specific deadline). Nursing Application Requirements (Prerequisites) must be completed prior to applying for the nursing program. Those applicants not admitted will need to reapply if seeking admission the following year.
Because the nursing program has limited enrollment and a large number of applicants each year, the most qualified applicants have the best chance for admission. Students who have completed the Nursing Application Requirements are eligible to apply for admission. However, meeting the minimum Nursing Application Requirements does NOT assure that a student will be competitive with other applicants.
