Nursing Program Application

Students who have completed the prerequisite requirements are eligible to apply and may download a Nursing Application when available. A $30.00 non-refundable processing fee is required with your application.

When to Apply

North Hennepin Nursing application process begins after October 1 and continues until January 29. Prerequisite requirements must be completed prior to application. Applicants with any general education course requirements in progress in fall semester should wait until after fall grades have been recorded to submit the nursing program application.

Steps to Apply for the Nursing Program

1. Complete a nursing program application form and include all required documentation (official transcripts and assessment scores).
2. Submit in person to Admissions & Registration Department with a $30.00 non-refundable application fee by January 29, 2010 or mail application with a postmark of no later than January 29, 2010 to North Hennepin Community College, Admissions & Registration, 7411 85th Ave. N., Brooklyn Park, MN 55445.
3. Assessment results must be submitted with your nursing application.

Note: Nursing application submitted by January 29, 2010 will be considered for the nursing class starting in Fall (or summer for mobility applicants) only. Those not admitted will need to reapply if seeking admission in 2011.

Because these programs are competitive, the best qualified applicants have the best chance for admission. It is to your advantage to complete additional general education courses required in the nursing program.
