NHCC recognizes that everyone has a different level of experience with technology. To help you explore online learning and increase your computer skills, we offer a course demo for online learners.

We have a North Hennepin Community College course and a course from MnSCU for you to try.

Have you ever wanted to see what an online course looks like before you register?  Now you can!  This sample consists of two actual lessons from a class that is currently being taught here at NHCC.  You can even try a sample quiz and post a practice discussion to see how it works.

Steps:

1. Navigate to Online learning.
2. Type demo in both the student id and password boxes
3. Click the login button to enter the online learning system
4. Click on the course named "Legal Aspects of Building Inspection."

Steps:

1. Navigate to: https://mnsite.ims.mnscu.edu/
2. Click Chocolate in both the student id and password boxes.
   Note: you must type in the Capital C. It is case sensitive!
3. Select the Chocolate! A D2L Mini-Course.
