Upward Bound (UB) is a college preparatory program for high school students funded by the U.S. Department of Education and sponsored locally by North Hennepin Community College as part of its TRiO grant. UB is specifically designed to strengthen the academic skills of eligible high school students and prepare them to enter college and graduate with baccalaureate degrees. UB participants may also qualify to receive a monthly stipend based on their attendance and participation.
