Student Ambassadors are responsible for representing North Hennepin Community College, on and off campus and assisting with recruitment and retention. Our goal is to mentor prospective and current students and provide information on programs and services available at NHCC.

- Responsible
- Well Rounded
- Posses public speaking/ presentation experience.
- The ability to speak to large groups.
- Reflective of the diversity of our students.
- Currently a Student at NHCC.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Develop on expanded knowledge and interest in NHCC.
2. College recruiting and retention efforts include
a. Representing the college on and off campus
b. Assisting with daily tours and with scheduled group events.
c. Assisting with planning of special events as they develop.
d. Assisting with new Student Orientations.
3. Assume additional task and responsibilities as needed (assisting with special projects as they arise).
4. Promote Student activities and Services.
5. May represent NHCC student body in college promotional materials.
Application and Selection Process
All NHCC Student Ambassadors will be selected through the application and the following process.
1. Applications will be reviewed by the Ambassador Selection committee.
2. Upon review of your application you will be contacted by phone to schedule a time for an interview if you are selected. |
