Approximately 9,230 students took credit classes at North Hennepin Community College in the 2007 academic year with an additional 6,600 students taking non-credit continuing education classes.

Over half of NHCC students are female and the average age of our students is 26.

We serve a diverse community of learners with 28% students of color, 941 English speakers of other languages (ESOL), and 56 international students with F-1 Visas.

We have a large number of first-generation college students - meaning neither parent attended college, and a very large, growing number of online students.
