Federal PIN

Your federal PIN (personal identification number) can be used each year to electronically apply for federal student aid and to access your aid records online. You will need your PIN to make online corrections to your FAFSA, including adding/changing the name of a school to receive your application data. Your PIN also serves as your electronic signature, so you should never give your PIN to anyone. Be sure to keep your PIN in a safe place!
