In August of 2011, North Hennepin Community College will be migrating from the METNET email service to Outlook Live. With this move students will receive a host of benefits that include:
Large storage size for email (10GB for Outlook Live)
Password protected 25GB online storage through Windows Live SkyDrive
Instant messaging
Rich calendaring
Photo sharing
Multiple browser support
SMS alerts to mobile phones
To initialize your email account or reset your email password you will first be asked to prove your identity by submitting your eServices username and password. Upon success you will see your new email address and be given the opportunity to set the password. Note - You are only changing the password for the NHCC email system and not eServices.
