This is a highly visible position within Institutional Advancement that supports the mission and strategic goals of the College and Foundation. This position proactively plans, develops, and manages content that engages with the College’s various audiences (students, prospective students, alumni, community members, businesses, donors, media, faculty/staff, etc.) and distributes it through the website, social media, video, radio, email, newsletter, magazine, recruitment and outreach collateral, as well as identify new communication vehicles. This position serves as a liaison to the media, positioning the College to produce positive regional, statewide, and national visibility and public goodwill. This person advises internal constituents, including president, vice presidents, deans, department chairs and faculty on strategic communication initiatives, as well as supports system office communication efforts.
