Welcome to the NHCC Bookstore

The North Hennepin Community College Bookstore is your source for all course materials and supplies.

You may purchase your books online or at the Bookstore. When purchasing books in the Bookstore, you will need to provide a copy of your current class schedule and you will need to show your NHCC Student ID.

In addition, we provide other goods and services, such as:

• Metro Transit Bus Passes for unlimited ridership each term at a discounted price. Student ID and current course schedule is required. Accepted form of payment is cash and credit card only. Passes may not be purchased with check, financial aid, or payment plan.
• Postage stamps (limit 10)
• North Hennepin clothing and gifts
• School and art supplies 
• Snacks and candy

Important Dates and Deadlines  

Make sure to check the College Dates and Deadlines page for important dates and deadlines pertaining to book availability, book charge service, book return deadlines, and book buy back dates. At the Dates and Deadlines page, you find dates for:

• Book availability. Books are generally available for purchase @ three weeks before the start of each term. Not all course materials will be available on this date as the availability is subject to faculty orders and publishing company timelines. The last day to purchase full-term course materials is general the fifth business day of the term. Please refer to Dates and Deadlines for exact schedule.
• Book charge service. Book charge service generally begins the week before each term starts and ends the fifth business day of the term. Please refer to the Book Charge Service for more information and Dates and Deadlines for exact schedule.
• Book return for refund deadline.  Book return deadline is the fifth business day of the term or the fifth business day after the first class session, whichever is later. Please refer to the Book Return Policy for more information and to Dates and Deadlines for exact schedule. 
• Book return for PSEO deadline. PSEO students must return course materials no later than 4:30pm on the last day of the term.
• Book buy back. You can sell your books for cash close to the end of each semester/summer session. Please refer to Dates and Deadlines for exact schedule.
