Bor R. Yang, J.D.
Bor R. Yang, is an attorney in private practice in Minneapolis and a Qualified Neutral. Her practice focuses on family law issues, including Divorce, Custody, Paternity, and Adoptions. Her legal experience stems from employment at the Hennepin County Attorney's Office in the Juvenile Division; client services at the Wisconsin State Public Defender's Office, Social Security and Government Benefits at Central Minnesota Legal Services; as well as a judicial clerkship with the Honorable Lloyd B. Zimmerman, Judge of District Court, Hennepin County, upon completion of her Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School.
Currently, Bor Yang is a full time instructor at North Hennepin Community College teaching in the areas of Family, Criminal Law and Procedure, Litigation I and II, and Contracts and Business Organizations. She believes in creating a learner's environment that is palpable, involving intense discussions, laughter, and practical application of theories, statutes, and cases based on the philosophy that learning happens when it is practical, purposeful, and enduring.
Bor acts as the advisor for the NHCC Paralegal Student Association.
