North Hennepin Community College, a member of the Minnesota State system of colleges and universities, and one of the largest and most diverse two-year colleges in Minnesota, is accepting applications for the position of Vice President of Student Success (Administrator 7).
 
The Vice President of Student Success (VPSS) provides executive leadership to campus student services including Admissions & Outreach, Counseling, Advising & Career Planning, Disability Access Services, Financial Aid, Records & Registration, Student Life & Recreational Sports, Testing Center, Student Conduct, Outreach, Career Programs and Veterans Affairs. These departments support and facilitate services related to recruitment, admission, orientation, retention, transfer, graduation, student activities, international students, PSEO students, student employment, assessment of student success, etc. The VPSS promotes high quality customer services, efficiencies of operation and continuous quality improvement. The VPSS is a champion for continuous quality improvement and in all aspects of the departments and the college, and is responsible for the strategic vision and planning for student success. The VPSS participates as a member of the Executive Team of the College.

The Provost will serve as the Chief Academic and Student Affairs Officer of the college and is expected to provide the educational and administrative leadership to achieve a high standard of excellence and innovation in teaching and learning, student development, and faculty and staff professional development. The Provost will provide the vision and overall guidance for academic and student affairs, policy formulation, educational planning, and new program development in an integrated academic and student development setting. The Provost will report to the college President and may serve as the CEO’s proxy in the President’s absence.
