The NICT program at North Hennepin is currently suspended.

North Hennepin Community College ’s Non-Invasive Cardiology Technology Program is jointly sponsored with Park Nicollet Heart Center, Methodist Hospital. The program is delivered by current certified practitioners in the field and includes an internship component. Upon completion of the NICT program and after completion of 12 months of clinical ultrasound experience, graduates may apply to take the registry examination offered by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). Graduates will enter the health care team as a Non-Invasive Cardiology Technologist and find employment in hospitals, clinics, and doctors offices.
