North Hennepin offers a Housing Inspection Certificate to prepare students for the housing inspection industry, both public and private. The program is designed to provide housing inspections with basic understanding of current and historical construction methods and codes. It provides practical applications of mechanical, plumbing, electrical and structural components of housing inspections such as zoning, nuisance abatement, unsanitary living conditions, graffiti abatement, weed control, health codes and multi-housing inspections.
