North Hennepin Community College is currently the only college in the Midwest that offers an Associate in Arts with an Emphasis in History. The degree fulfills all MnTC requirements and provides students with all the required history courses to allow them to transfer to a four year institution with a junior standing in history. This program prepares the graduate to continue on toward a bachelor’s degree with either a minor or a major in history.
