College level examination program (CLEP) testingThe College-Level Examination Program® or CLEP provides students of any age with the opportunity to demonstrate college-level achievement through a program of exams in undergraduate college courses. Over 2,900 colleges grant credit and/or advanced standing for CLEP exams.
Through CLEP testing, students may be awarded credit for equivalent NHCC classes. Refer to the NHCC CLEP Guide, which shows courses, minimum scores, credits awarded, and credit toward MnTC requirements.
Credits earned through CLEP exams may not be used to satisfy the resident credit requirement for graduation at NHCC.
Transferring? Check with the Admissions Office of your transfer institution for requirements pertaining to CLEP.
