Do I need an ISBN to buy my books?

To buy your books online at the NHCC online Bookstore you do not need the book's ISBN. You do need to know your course number and section number.

The ISBN is available in the Campus Bookstore only. We do not provide the ISBN via the web or send the ISBN by fax or email.

When choosing where to make your book purchase, it's important to know:

• We do not charge sales tax, which means you save 6.5% when you buy from us. Other for profit bookstores and online sources are required to charge the 6.5% state tax.
• We provide textbooks and supplies at reasonable prices.
• We stock as many used books as we can.
• We stock the books your instructors request.
• We provide an online book buying service and ship the book to your home.
• We accept your book for a refund if you drop your class and meet our return policy.
• We are owned by the State of Minnesota - MNSCU at NHCC. Our profit margin is low and our profit benefits NHCC students.
