Fee explanations:Student LifeStudent Life/Activity Fee: The student life activity fee is assessed to all students. The amount of this fee is determined by a student committee. These funds are distributed to student organizations, including but not limited to the Student Senate, student organizations, the student newspaper and magazine, and other student activities and events. The student life activity fee is $5 per credit hour.
ParkingParking and Security Fee: Fees collected will pay for parking lot security and parking lot maintenance. The parking fee is $3 (plus .20 tax) per credit hour for on-campus classes, $48.00 maximum per term ($25.60 maximum for summer).
Technology Technology Fee: The technology fee, assessed to all students, is used to support student computer labs and other technology that directly relates to instruction. The technology fee is $6 per credit hour.
MSCSAMSCSA Fee: The Minnesota State College Student Association (MSCSA) fee, assessed to all students, is determined by the Minnesota State College and University System Board of Trustees. Funds are used by the MSCSA statewide, for activities representing students. The MSCSA fee is $0.31 per credit hour.
