Placement test waiver
Placement test waivers may be granted based upon:
- Successful completion (2.0 GPA or higher) of college-level algebra and English composition courses at an accredited college or university.
- Successful completion (2.0 GPA or higher) in general education, reading intensive courses, such as Introduction to Psychology, Biology or Sociology.
- ACT sub-scores* of 24 or higher in math, English or reading.
*Note: ACT score report cannot be older than three years for English and two years for math.
IMPORTANT: Students applying to the Nursing Program are not eligible for a placement test waiver.
Transfer students submitting official transcripts to the Registration Office for credit evaluation will be evaluated for the placement waiver and do not need to submit a request to the Testing Center.
