If you are interested in attending North Hennepin Community College you must apply for admission and submit a one-time $20 non-refundable application fee.

Two ways to apply

1. Apply online! Remember, even if you have an existing student or staff ID within the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system, your first step will be to create a new account. You are able to pay the application fee online using a credit card or echeck.
2. Download and print the NHCC application form, and submit it to the Admissions Office with your application fee.

International students

International students need to complete the process as outlined for International Students rather than the standard application form.

PSEO students

Post Secondary Enrollment Option (PSEO) students do not pay the $20 application fee.

In addition to the standard application, PSEO students are also required to submit:

• Notice of Student Registration (MN State form)
• Official high school transcript.

Transfer students

If you have previously attended a college or university, your credits may apply toward your degree at NHCC. 

1. Check how your credits will transfer to NHCC at the Minnesota Course Applicability System (MnCAS).
2. Request previously attended institutions to send your official transcript to the Registration Office.
