Harassment, violence, and weaponsThe College intends and acts to help ensure the campus is a safe, secure and welcoming learning and working environment. Accordingly the College has adopted policies that prohibit the following:
- General harassment, defined as intentional physical or verbal behavior by one person toward another which has the purpose of creating an intimidating, hostile, or offensive environment.
- Violence, defined as abusive or unjust exercise of power, intimidation, harassment, and/or the threatened or actual use of force which results in or has a high likelihood of causing hurt, fear, injury, suffering or death.
- Illegal or unauthorized possession of firearms, explosives, knives or other weapons or dangerous chemicals.
