The Fine Arts Department at North Hennepin Community College offers a series of art and design classes and learning opportunities that allow students to maximize their creative potential. In addition to classes that fulfill the Minnesota Transfer Curriculum for the Associate in Arts degree, the department also offers a Studio Arts degree and a Graphic Design degree.

- State-of-the-art Macintosh Computer Lab with high resolution scanners, film scanners, color printers and the latest in software design programs
- Photography lab with film developing room, printing room, black and white enlarger stations, color lab, digital photography stations and digital photographic printers.
- Studio classrooms with complete set of industrial and portable woodworking tools.
- Art Service Room staffed by a full-time art technician and work-study students.
- Metalsmithing Studio with six acetylene welding stations, burnout kiln for casting and enameling kiln.
- Drawing and painting studio
- Video Editing Lab
